North Dakota bans texting while driving

Governor Jack Dalrymple of North Dakota has just signed a law banning texting behind the wheel. Thanks to Governor Dalrymple and leaders in the state legislature, North Dakota today joins 30 other states, Guam and the District of Columbia in taking this important step toward safer driving.

Florida is one of the minority of states that has not passed any laws that ban texting while driving. Car accidents in Florida are a daily phenomena. While the legislature is serious about limiting victims rights, they have not shown any inclination to limit the amount of car accidents.
